Welcome to Cafe Meow

Cafe Meow is Blackpool’s one and only Cat Cafe specialising in rehoming cats. Cafe Meow recently won New Business of the Year and continues to fight against cat homelessness. Ready to visit us? Book in with the button above and come and meet all the amazing kitties on-site. We acknowledge not everybody is looking to adopt a new furever friend, many people visit just to relax and unwind after a long week. If you’re looking to escape the 9-5 and just chill out, this is the place to be. We usually have lots of kittens which is great for the kids! It literally is the best of both worlds.

The Cat Cafe

Cafe Meow is an award winning New Business which strives to rehome as many homeless cats as possible. We only make a small dent in rehoming, but with over 100 adoptions in our first year, we are doing our part.

Hourly Slots

All of our prices are for one hour at the cafe and one drink from our Black Menu. The price is 12.50 and will ensure you help keep all kitties on site with warmth, shelter, love and 24/7 supervision. Not to mention you'll have the most relaxing hour you've ever spent in Blackpool! Thinking of bringing the kids? Our kittens are always ready to play.

Adoption

The majority of the cats on site are up for adoption. We work very closely alongside two local charities. Cats in Care and Tenderpaws are two amazing charities who help us fight against cat abandonment.

Disabled Guide

Cafe Meow is fully Wheelchair Accessible and even allows for the use of electric scooters. We have an access ramp to get inside and exit the cafe, as well as fully accessible toilet facilities. You will be in very good hands.

Pricing

The price of admission to the Cafe is 12.50 with the inclusion of any free drink from our Black Menu. We do offer premium drinks at a slightly higher cost such as thick icecream milkshakes and frappes.

I absolutely loved Cafe Meow! My husband and I booked a session online which was very easy to do. The staff is very friendly, lots of cats to pet and lay with, all with different personalities, as well as a very relaxing atmosphere. After an hour at Cafe Meow I felt so refreshed, relaxed and happy. I also came back the following day to bring my mother-in-law, she loved it as well. Definitely an hour well spent and I HIGHLY recommend it!

I have visited several cat cafes - all of which were more expensive - but Cafe Meow is by far the best one! Lovely, knowledgeable staff, delicious cake - and lovely, lovely cats. I'm not sure how the staff have achieved this, but the cats were so friendly and interactive from the moment I sat down - some of them were literally climbing into my lap, as well as into my shopping bag! The really great thing is that the cafe gets its cats from two local rescues, and they're very active in seeking new homes for them - i was told by a member of staff that since they opened they've rehomed a hundred cats! I would not hesitate to visit again, and only have one suggestion for improving the experience - please consider offering customers the chance to book a longer visit. a single hour just isn't enough!

Cafe Meow is Blackpool’s first cat cafe right in the heart of the town centre on Birley street. We are currently in partnership with Tender Paws and Cats in Care who we help fight against cat homelessness.
